Utama Spice Aromatherapy Products (Review)

Utama Spice is a unique skincare company whose headquarters are in Ubud, Bali. They focus on applying Balinese herbal knowledge to make products that enhance the skin’s natural beauty, but also help to bring people closer to nature.  Utama Spice uses only 100% pure natural ingredients.  Dayu Suci and Melanie Templer started the company in 1989 after they had been making handmade products for their loved ones.

I was given Utama Spice Products as a gift and I would like to share with you some of my favorites:

SONOMA YI Diffuser: This is a very elegant and classy ultrasonic luxury diffuser that humidifies the air with an LED lamp that has 3 settings- bright, dim, and breathing. It has a timer and with a push of a button, it can be set for 8 or 16 hours of mist diffusing. The beautiful white ceramic lid and natural wood base of the diffuser looks lovely in any room that I place it in and it has a maximum capacity of 100 ml. After filling the Sonoma YI Diffuser with water, I add 5-10 drops of my favorite essential oils, plug it into a standard electrical outlet, push the start button, and instantly a fine mist filled with the scent of the essential oils comes out from the top of the diffuser. It smells wonderful.  I usually do not put the light on when the diffuser is in operation, but I have tried all 3 settings.  I occasionally put the light on the dim setting and set the diffusing time for 16 hours, so that I do not have to turn the device on again for awhile.  The ceramic lid is very nice, because it is not made of plastic, is sturdy, has a beautiful design, excellent functionality, and is affordable.  Price: $39.99

Essential Oils: I like all of the Utama Spice Oils that I have tried and there are so many varieties to choose from. They are all 100% pure and have a strong fragrance.  Over the years, I have tried a lot of other essential oils which were not very strong or were mixed with added ingredients, but I prefer Utama Spice Essential Oils because they are pure and have a natural, strong therapeutic scent. The oils come in 10 ml. dark blue dispenser bottle and last a long time. Price: $14.99

Here are some of my favorite Utama Spice Essential Oils:

• Lemongrass:  Relaxing, calming, and a bug repellent.
• Rosemary: Energizing
• Deep Calming:  Blend of Lavender Oil, Rose Geranium Flower Oil, Bergamot Oil, Cananga Flower Oil,  Orange Peel Oil
• Clearing: Blend of cubeb, peppermint, ginger, and nutmeg. Can be used topically, inhaled from the bottle, or diffused.
• Lavender: Calming and soothing
• Mint: Pure Peppermint Leaf Oil. Cooling and recommended to use with a carrier oil such as virgin coconut oil.

Body Butters (Tropical Flower, Cocoa Love, and Lemongrass Ginger): All three body butters are very moisturizing, are blended with a variety of essential oils, contain only natural ingredients, and come in a 100 ml. size container.  My favorite one is the Cocoa Love. It is pure cocoa butter combined with other natural ingredients. When I was pregnant with my daughter, my mother taught me to rub cocoa butter on my tummy, so that it would help prevent stretch marks and it definitely helped! I did not have any stretch marks after my daughter was born.  I like the Utama Spice Cocoa Love Body Butter, because it smells so nice, and is emollient, and makes my skin feel soft and supple. I usually apply the product around my eyes and lips.  All of the Utama Spice Body Butters are wonderful but my favorite is Cocoa Love. Price: $19.99

I prefer to use natural ingredients on my body and in my home. Utama Spice Products have been extremely beneficial to me and I highly recommend their products.
