Nature’s Garden Candles Fragrance Oil Gift Guide

by Philippa Lane

I love fragrance oils and especially strongly scented ones that exude beautiful aromas, such as fragrances for the fall and winter season by Nature’s Garden Candles.

Nature’s Garden Candles is a wholesale company that specializes in high quality fragrance oils, bath supplies, candle supplies, herbs & spices, and soap supplies.

Fall and winter are a very special seasons for me and even though I live in Southern California, where it still feels like summer until mid-November, I still enjoy smelling seasonal oils, because they help me to imagine that it’s cold outside when the fall and winter fragrances permeate every room of my home.

Nature’s Garden Candles has a wide variety of fragrances to choose from, but I would like to share with you some of my favorites for the fall and winter season.

The oils that I will mention in this gift guide are all very strong and have an excellent fragrance throw that lasts a long time and can be easily blended with other fragrance oils.

Cinnamon Sticks Fragrance Oil: I love the taste and fragrance of cinnamon. I like it in tea, bread, candles, potpourri, and in oil burners. Now, the Cinnamon Sticks oil is not meant to be eaten, but you can use it in making soaps, candles, bath oils, perfume, incense, and cleaning products. This oil smells just like real cinnamon bark and is a very strong scent, only needing to put a few drops in a warmer to fill an entire room with the fragrance.

Harvest Type Fragrance Oil: The fall season makes me think about the fragrances of clove and cinnamon. I like this scent because it reminds me of fall leaves and it has a subtle woody scent to it. Harvest is a wonderful fall scent, but it is versatile and is perfect for the winter season as well.

Apple Dumpling Fragrance Oil: I love apples, apple pie, apple juice, and almost anything made with apples. The Apple Dumpling Oil from Nature’s Garden Candles smells just like baked apple dumplings fresh out of the oven. It is the perfect scent for the fall and winter season. The top notes are pears and apples, middle notes are cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, clove, nutmeg, and the base notes are baked dough, vanilla, and hazelnut. The oil can be used in soaps, perfumes, candles, bath and body products, and room fresheners. I put the oil in a warmer and the aroma permeates my entire home within minutes.

Hillbilly Home Brew Fragrance Oil: this is a very different kind of fragrance that I have never smelled another like it before. The scent is like cider, cloves cinnamon, wild berries, and cloves. I like to experience this scent in my kitchen.

Gingerbread Fragrance Oil: Gingerbread in the oven baking smells so good! A few drops in my oil burner put a very strong scent in the air that smells just like gingerbread all through my home. Ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg make up this wonderful fragrance. The oil really smells like ginger cookies, so just be wise and do not eat it!

Mountain Hazelnut Café Fragrance Oil: I like the taste smell of fresh brewed coffee and this is one of my favorites that is a true and realistic coffee scent. I enjoy smelling this fragrance in the kitchen, because it emits a very strong fragrance that consists of hazelnuts, coffee beans, and luscious vanilla. I love it!

I also want to share with you three wonderful fragrances that I like to use during the winter and Christmas holiday season, which are:

Christmas Tree Fragrance Oil: This oil smells just like a real Christmas Tree and is one of the best fragrances to use during the Christmas season. Top notes of pine and fresh lime with middle notes of cardamom, pepper, and a base note of Scotch pine. Very strong and highly recommended, especially if you have an artificial tree.

Christmas Cabin Fragrance Oil: A beautiful blend of cranberries, bayberries, and a top note of freshly crushed cinnamon bark with hints of orange zests. This oil smells just like a cabin in the woods and is one of Nature’s Garden Candles most popular fragrances.

Bayberry Fragrance Oil: The perfect fragrance for the Christmas season, strong, and one of the best Bayberry scents available. Made with bayberry, nutmeg, ginger, clove, balsam, cypress, and fir. The fragrance is not too sweet and lasts a long time.

All of the aforementioned fragrances have a strong fragrance throw and are perfect for the fall and winter holiday season. Many of the oils can be used in soaps, candles, lotions, potpourri incense, perfumes, cleaning products, and oil burners. Some cannot be applied to the skin, so it is good to check which ones do and do not.

The fragrance oils are very affordable and reasonably priced at $2.65 for a 1 oz. sized bottle. The oils are also available in 4, 8, and 16 oz. sizes as well as 5, 10, and 25 lbs. I am very pleased with the company and the high quality fragrance oils that they produce.
