Wonderfully scented Fragrance Oils for the fall,
winter, and Christmas Holiday Season
As the fall and winter
seasons quickly approach, there are a variety of beautiful colors, sights, and
sounds that begin to manifest, awakening happy memories of jumping in a pile of
orange and yellow leaves, feeling the brisk air on a cool autumn morning,
sitting by a cozy fire, hearing Christmas songs on the radio, or building a
snowman on a frosty winter day. With
fragrance oils, you can bring a lot of those beautiful experiences into your
own home, delight your senses, and let the aroma surround you with the scents
of the season.
I am the type of person that
loves fragrances to fill the air in my home all throughout the year. I prefer
floral and fruit scents in the spring and summer seasons and richer scents,
such as pine, cinnamon, pumpkin, gingerbread, peppermint, and vanilla in the
fall and winter seasons.
Fragrance
oils, which are also known as aroma oils,
can help change the atmosphere and fill a room with fruity, floral, herbal,
spicy, bakery, or tree essences, but not all fragrance oils are of the best
quality, strong, long lasting, and many are quite expensive.
I recently discovered Indigo
Fragrances and I must say that the company makes high quality oils that are truly
exceptional, designed to be used in making shower gels, bath bombs, soaps, and
lotions, candles, perfumes, or place in oil warmers, lamp rings, potpourri, and
to scent your linen.
I would like to share with you
some of my favorite Indigo Fragrance Oils for the fall and winter seasons which
have a strong, long lasting aroma, and are affordable.
Autumns Lodge Fragrance Oil: This oil smells just like being in a mountain cabin in
autumn, surrounded by beautiful trees with gently falling orange and yellow leaves.
The scent is warm and inviting with notes of pine needle, cinnamon, and
wintergreen. I use a dropper and place about 3 drops of the oil into a warmer
and just let the scent fill my home for hours. Price: 1 oz. $2.59
Pumpkin Hollow Fragrance Oil: If you love the smell of pumpkin pie, or pumpkin
spice, then this fragrance oil a great choice. Pumpkin Hollow is one of my
favorites from Indigo Fragrance Oils, because it smells like pumpkin pie baking
in an oven. The special combination of vanilla, pumpkin, cinnamon, and spices
make this fragrant oil a wonderful scent to enjoy in every room of your home
during the fall season. Price: 1oz. $2.39
Autumns Wreath Fragrance Oil: A truly warm and inviting scent with spicy notes
that is perfect for the fall season and winter.
Autumn Wreath is a wonderful blend of nutmeg, cloves, autumn leaves, and
baked apples. The fragrance is pleasant, welcoming, and smells exactly like its
name. It is Indigo’s version of Yankee Candle’s Autumn Wreath and in my
opinion, it smells very similar, yet is less expensive. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
Fall Festival Fragrance Oil: Made
with a delightful blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, marshmallows, and orange
zests, Fall Festival is a unique fragrance that smells like its name. It is
easy to envision pumpkin patches, fun hayrides, and corn mazes with one whiff
of this oil. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
Now for my absolute favorite
time of the year, Christmas. The scents that I love to smell during the Christmas
and winter season are evergreen, pine, peppermint, and gingerbread.
Here are some of my favorites
for the winter and Christmas season:
Gingerbread Fragrance Oil: I love the smell of ginger especially fresh baked
gingerbread. This oil is very strong. I just place a few drops of the oil in
warmers in different rooms of my home and the decadent aroma of gingerbread
fills the air and lasts for hours. It smells like I have been baking for hours and
the vanilla helps balance the stronger spicy notes of the fragrance. While the
fragrance fills my home, I can picture little smiling gingerbread men sitting
in a decorative bowl with warm and inviting eyes looking at me. This oil is a
special blend of ginger nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet vanilla, clove, and has a long
lasting fragrance that lasts for hours. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
Christmas Morning Fragrance Oil: I know that when Jesus was born in Bethlehem, He was
born in a manger and it probably smelled like animals and hay, not fragrant
spices and fruit, but this fragrance oil reminds me of waking up on Christmas day
and smelling a beautiful Christmas tree sitting near a window with the fresh
scent of bayberries, cinnamon, cranberries, and orange zests filling the air. This
is my favorite Indigo Fragrance for the holiday season, because it is a very
strong scent, but yet not overpowering, and smells wonderful. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
Vanilla Bean Noel Fragrance Oil: There is something about the scent of vanilla that
is soothing, calming, and never overpowering. The Vanilla Bean Noel Fragrance
Oil is infused with vanilla, caramel, roasted marshmallow, and sugar cookie.
Sometimes I like to mix this oil with other oils to create a new variation of
the fragrance, but Vanilla Bean Noel smells great without being mixed or added
to any other oil. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
Christmas Spirit Fragrance Oil: A fragrant and festive oil, Christmas Spirit is a
beautiful blend of apples, fir, balsam, pine, cloves, and cinnamon. It has a
strong throw and I love the rich scent that permeates my home when placed in a
warmer. Christmas Spirit reminds me of a snow covered cabin nestled in the
woods with a decorated Christmas Tree lit in the corner of a room near a wood
burning fireplace and smoke cascading from the chimney. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
Home for the Holidays: Another fragrance that I like is Home for the Holidays,
it has notes of spiced cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, baked apples, chocolate,
and caramel. This is a yummy and “delicious” fragrance that smells so good, but
you must not eat it! I just add about 7-15 drops of the oil into a warmer and let
the fragrant aroma from this oil fill my home. It is a welcoming scent for the
Christmas season and is perfect for in-home gatherings or parties. Price: 1 oz. $2.39
All of the aforementioned
fragrance oils that I have just shared with you come in 1 oz., 2 oz., 4 oz., 8 oz.,
and 1 lb. size bottles. Sample sizes are also available for only $1.29, which
is a great way to try out a variety of fragrances for a low price.
These are just some of my
favorite oils from Indigo Fragrances for the fall and winter season, but the
company has many other fragrances to choose from that can be use all throughout
the year.
