Crabtree & Evelyn 2013 Holiday Shopping Guide

It’s that wonderful time of the year again when the fragrant scents of the fall and winter seasons fill the air and this holiday season, Crabtree & Evelyn has introduced unique and perfectly scented products that fill any room with a delightful aroma and notes of ripe apples, cinnamon, pine, spice, and warm vanilla.

Crabtree & Evelyn is a company that has been around for 35 years and was founded by John Evelyn- an Englishman, who used fine, botanical ingredients to create an assortment of exquisite home and beauty products.

I would like to share with you a few of my favorite seasonal products from Crabtree & Evelyn that add a special touch to the holiday season and make great gifts.

Noel and Gilded Chestnut Home Fragrance Room Sprays (100 ml):  I have tried many home fragrances that smell great as soon as I spray them, but within a couple of minutes, the scent is gone. I desired home fragrance sprays for the holiday season that would fill my home with a strong, pleasant, and long lasting fragrance and I found exactly what I was looking for with the Noel and Gilded Chestnut Home Fragrance Room Sprays.  These special room sprays smell so good with a strong scent that is long lasting and perfect for the holiday season.  The Noel and Gilded Chestnut Home Sprays come in attractive, beautiful gold tone containers and contain enough fragrance to last for more than two months.  The Gilded Chestnut Room Spray is infused with the scent of apples, roasted chestnut, warm spices, winter berries, sweet cream, pear, and musk, while the Noel Home Fragrance Room Spray is infused with balsam, spicy star anise, clove, nutmeg, mulling spices, and persimmon.  The sprays can be dispersed throughout the home and on cards/envelopes. Gilded Chestnut Home Fragrance Oil (10 ml): I like to place a few drops of this fine oil in a burner or on top of potpourri. It can also be placed on light bulb rings. I found this fragrance spray to be very different from any other fall and winter scents that I have ever smelled, because it is not the typical pine or cinnamon scents that we normally smell during this time of year. Noel Home Fragrance Oil (10 ml):  This nostalgic oil brings back memories of Christmases long ago, infused with sprigs of balsam, freshly picked firs, citrus, persimmons, nutmeg, apple, cranberry, and mulled spiced cider. It is a rich and cheerful scent for the holiday season precious bottle. Simply add a few drops onto some potpourri, decorative pine cones, or in a warmer. The calming release of mulled nutmeg, cranberry, apple, and citrus is evocative of family, friendship, and all of the joys of the season.

Now, I would like to mention some new bath & shower gel and body lotions by Crabtree & Evelyn that I really like. I will start off with the shower gel it is called:

Verbena and Lavender Bath and Shower Gel: This bath and shower gel comes in a 8.5 fl. oz. sized bottle and is blended with notes of lavender, cedarwood, verbena, white amber, and tonka bean for a brisk and elating fragrance. It has a very fresh, clean scent. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that it leaves my skin a tad bit dry; however, it does smell good and effectively cleanses my skin. Price: $20.00

Verbena and Lavender Body Lotion: Now, this is the best body lotion that you need to apply after using the Verbena and Lavender Bath Gel. It comes in a 8.5 fl. oz. bottle and is moisturizing to the skin. I like to apply this lotion on my body after taking a shower and it makes my skin feel smooth, leaving it with the fresh scent of Lavender and verbena. The lotion also does not contain any mineral oil, propylene glycol, or parabens. Price: $22.00
