Most people that have carpets in their houses or apartments know that it needs to be vacuumed on a regular basis, but without the right vacuum with the ability to quickly pick up a lot of dirt, that task can be very difficult.

The Black and Decker Lithium Stick Vacuum with ORA (Optimized Runtime & Airflow) Technology is lightweight, easy to use, and holds a 36 volt charge for a full 23 minutes. This is a high voltage vacuum compared to many other stick vacuums available and comes with a charging stand that can be plugged into any standard wall outlet. I found that unless the vacuum is positioned a certain way on the charging stand, the four LED charging indicator lights which are located on the side of the vacuum will not appear and it will not charge. So, the vacuum really needs to be placed perfectly on the charging stand to charge it. The charging indicator lights display how much charge is remaining and also lets you know when the vacuum is completely charged.

On one charge, I can vacuum my living room, two bedrooms, hallway, and staircase with great ease and the vacuum also has a unique 2 Air-Cyclone feature with high suction that helps to prevent clogging.

I like to use the hand held part of the vacuum to clean my stairs, because it is much better than using a standard heavy vacuum and dragging it up and down the stairs. This vacuum makes cleaning so much easier, is convenient, cordless, can suck in dirt like an upright vacuum cleaner, and when the canister on the side of the vacuum gets filled, it is very easy to clean.

This vacuum is great for pet owners, because it is able to pick up all types of pet fur and kitty litter crystals. If you have animals, I am sure that it will pick up most of the fur that sheds normally off of a dog or cat.

The Black and Decker Lithium Stick Vacuum feels lightweight when held as a stick or when detached as a handheld.

Overall, I am pleased with this vacuum, except I just wish that it did not take so much work to place it exactly right on the charging stand to charge it up, but other than that, the vacuum works great!
